National Association of Competitive Mounted Orienteering, Alabama Chapter is having their 2nd ride. This sport is great for any level. Do not let the compass scare you. There is always a pre-ride meeting. There you will learn how to use your compass, read your map and understand clues. Go to the national website and read, "WHAT is CMO" to get a better understanding. Or you can call the ride manager Jaime Ruff and ask ANY questions you may have. This is our first year as a chapter, but we will have rides every month within the central area of the state. |
