Horsin' Around Benefit Trail Ride
April 4, 2009 at Georgia Wranglers Arena - Hwy 67 - Pembroke, GA
Georgia Wranglers located in Pembroke, Ga., on Hwy. 67 will be hosting a fundraising benefit trail ride for Horsin Around, a local non-profit therapeutic riding program for special needs children and adults that relies solely on volunteers. If you have ever witnessed the accomplishments of therapeutic horseback riding, you know it is truly amazing what affect this has on these riders. This program is a blessing for these individuals. The horse is a therapeutic aid that gives physical, emotional and mental rewards for riders.
Horsin Around consists of 3 riding instructors, 2 physical therapists, 8 horses, and many dedicated volunteers that all work together to help better the lives of their riders. Not only do they need financial support to maintain equipment and horses, but are always looking for volunteers. Judy Clark, the programs president, ensures the safety of the riders and horses by making sure that everyone is properly trained. Please join Georgia Wranglers for this worthy cause. Prizes will be given to the top 3 riders who raise the most money. A raffle will be held as well for an array of door prizes.
Registration is at 9am. Ride out is at 10am.
Comments: Horsin Around is located at 1032 John Carter Rd, Bloomingdale, GA 31302.
