Small private farm near Covington is looking for someone to help with odds and ends around the barn in exchange for supervised riding time or lessons. Examples of tasks include things like: cleaning tack, grooming horses, light duty barn chores, picking up manure in stalls and paddocks, helping new riders groom and tack. This volunteer position would be working side by side with the owner. A qualified candidate would be someone who has some experience with and around horses, takes pride in doing a good job, likes to smile and have fun, wants to improve their riding and horsemanship knowledge.
