Dixie is definitely a looker. She has a stunning mane and tail, even if you don't do anything to it. She's a very sweet girl.

We got her from a family that had zero horse experience. Dixie was malnourished and had a difficult temperament. Now, her weight gain is steadily improving and her demeanor has changed drastically. However, she does have a few vices but with time and proper training, she could be a great horse. I'd love to work with her myself but I don't have the skill or proper equipment round pen to train her. I've been on her twice and she does ground work. It's vital to establish you're the boss with her as she was allowed to push around her previous owners. She's a precious girl and she loves our other horse very much. She's very vocal and will call to you every time you step outside. She loves attention and to be doted on. She's only been trailered once and that was when she came to us. But with time and patience, I know she'd perfect it.

We're not asking much for her and that's because we don't care about the money we get from her. She's a really great horse and I know she has a ton of potential. She needs the time and training that I can't give her.
