This mare is a smaller horse, true to the foundation QH. Shes 14.2 with a beautiful wide blaze and three white feet. I originally bought her as my trail horse. She was a little underweight as she didn't have much grass at her previous owner's place. With worming and simple roughage grass, minimal hay she has gained almost 200 lbs and is proving to be a very easy keeper. She's a little slow for me. I prefer something that has a little more go, and she prefers to walk. I enjoy riding her, however. She accepts anything on the trail and she neck reins some. We are working on that, and quite frankly, I think she would be best suited in a hackamore! Very soft mouth- goes in a snaffle right now. Doesn't need much, but it's sensitive enough to become frightened by the 'busy' hands on a beginner. Daisy, named by a student, is being ridden western right now. She is taken out on a trails around our home regularly. She also rides english! We have found out that she accepts jumps nicely and has jumped up to 2'3. This was in a WEEK of working with her. She could definitely go higher and make a nice large hunter pony! Would make a WONDERFUL lesson horse! I'm looking for a permanent, loving home for her where she will have a job.
