Finnegan is a 14.2hh, 9 year old sorrel overo gelding. He neck reins well, rides western and has been started on barrels. He also will ride English and is starting to frame up and collect nicely. I have started him over fences and his free jump shows a cute form. Out on the trail he will jump anything. He's a great trail horse who swims, crosses water and will lead or follow. He has no vices and is easy to catch right now he is in a large pasture and though he usually stands for me to get him, his idea of running is to run into his stall, tacks up, ties and trailers. I've done parades with him and he didn't blink an eye. We've also started him under harness. However, he isn't for a beginner because he can get nervous. He won't hurt you but if he doesn't know exactly what you want he wants so badly to please you he gets upset. He does have a large sarcoid on his next that does not effect him just looks like a large lump with a dry patch. We were told by the vet that if we removed it, it would likely come back bigger.

He may even make a great polo pony because I do mounted spear-throwing off him and he doesn't care that things are swinging by his face or being thrown from behind his head. While I've never put him on cows, he does show interest when we pass them on the trail.

Finn would be a perfect lease for a lesson program needing a pony or a young adult looking to ready a pony for show season. I have gotten too busy with work and do not have time to ride him.
