Blue is my retired barrel horse that I have owned for 9 years. He is a sorrel roan and white registered paint with two blue eyes and black eyeliners around each eye.

I am looking for an intermediate to experienced rider that would like to share in the enjoyment that he has brought me as I cannot ride him as often as I would like right now.

Blue has not been ridden regularly in the recent past, but don't let his hay belly fool you, he is an energizer bunny. He is a fantastic trail horse and does not have a spooking problem...I have ridden him down Hwy 400, near four wheelers, everything. He loves to be in the lead, but will bring up the rear if necessary, and will go in any direction you point him in whether there is a path or not. He has amazing endurance for any horse let alone one of his age and shape. He will go and go for days. You would never know he was 19 by the way he rides or looks. He is a large horse with excellent bone and will fill your leg.

He has proven to be a fantastic English horse as well taking multiple ribbons at the local horse shows in both English and western. Unfortunately, due to some hock issues he cannot be used for hunter jumper, but will happily sail over a fallen tree here and there that may be in the way on a trail.

Overall, he is a fantastic all around horse and is not being used to his full potential while I am in school. He can do it all and is ready to be ridden. He is too nice to just be a pasture ornament the majority of the time.
