Goes back to Zippo Pat Bars and Three Bars. According to previous owner he's 15.1 hnds but I haven't measured. Great feet, great manners never offered to kick/bite, etc. Very sweet personality, easy keeper, loads & hauls fine, stands for farrier, vet, etc. The EASIEST horse to deworm Had just been introduced to the barrel pattern when I bought him last year but hasn't seen it since. Pretty level headset. Moves off your leg. Sidepasses both ways, turns on haunches and does counter arcs....they do need to be cleaned up though. Flexes left & right, gives to poll pressure, backs, good stop- just sit down and say whoa. The only negative thing I have found about him is that he needs to be hauled more. He tends to be nervous and unconfident of himself in new places and for this reason, I feel he would be suitable for an experienced rider. At home, he acts more like a 20 year old, not much bothers him. A lot of times, I ride him bareback with his halter here and he does fine. He has 4-wheelers, tractors, goats, dogs, kids, etc. running around at home. I bought him thinking I would finish his barrel training and that hasn't been the case. He's only getting rode at home and the occasional outing so that's why he's for sale. He needs a job and I think he could go in any direction. Vaccinations & coggins were done in March.
