Meet Fletcher! This super cute TWH gelding is 12 years old. He is a little over 14.3h, but doesn't hit the 15h mark. A solid 14.3 1/2hh. Fletcher is an easy, uncomplicated ride. He makes you feel safe in the saddle, but he's not boring to ride. He would be a great horse for someone who has lost their confidence, a first time owner, or for someone who just wants an easy, pleasant, fuss free partner. Fletcher is willing and has a happy attitude. He has a good whoa, and easy reverse. He stands patiently for his rider to mountand dismount, and waits until he is asked before moving off. Fletcher will ride slow and easy, but doesn't hesitate if you ask him to move on out. He rides out confidently by himself, but is also quiet while riding any position in a group. Wonderful trail horse. He will easily maneuver ditches, step over logs, cross bridges, and go through water. Fletcher does not have shy, skittish, or spooky tendencies. He is never hard to catch, simply walk into his pasture with your halter and go put it on him. He is very easy to clip. From the tip of his nose to under his tail, and everywhere in between. He is more than happy to be blanketed for the cold. He is very mannerly at feeding time. He waits for you to put the feed into his bucket, he then eats patiently without spilling or pawing. He is not pushy, but does enjoy attention. Fletcher is a very consistent partner. He can be ridden daily, or you can have him as a pet for several months between rides. He is a good looking boy that comes in a less than common color. The champagne color is easy to care for. It is light enough to resist sun fading, and dark enough that not every spec of dirt shows. Flethcer has been exposed to a lot of obstacles dogs, cars, atv's, motorcycles, farm equipment, tarps, flags, bicycles, cows, goats, donkeys, and teeter totters just to name a few. He loads right in the trailer and you won't even know he's back there going down the road. He backs off nice and easy and is good in new places. Stands patiently for the vet and farrier. Good with his feet and is trimmed to go barefoot. He will stand tied quietly for hours. Fletcher is easy to groom, tack up, and bridle. He is sound and healthy. He has no lameness issues or health problems. He is up to date on shots, de-worming, farrier, and has a current coggins. He has no issues, vices, or bad habits. Fletcher will come with a current coggins, recent health certificate, and a vet examination report. Fletcher truly is a horse that anyone will love.
