I am looking to rehome my 26 yr old mare. Meet Raven. I rescued her six years ago and love her dearly, however, due to my work schedules I can no longer provide the care and attention she deserves. Here is what I know about her:
I rescued her from a pasture board facility in Cartersville, GA where I am told that she and several others were dropped off by a hunter/jumper school who never returned to feed or care for them. At some point in time she was on the tract, as she is tattooed on her lip. I was not able to find out more about her due to the disintegration of the tattoo. At that time our vet said she was approx. 20 yrs. old from the length of her teeth. I am not much of a rider and don't know how to ride English, but am told by others who have ridden her, that she knows some dressage. She will ride with a western saddle but does not neck rein. She does however, need an EXPERIENCED rider. She can be very strong willed and is not a beginner's or child's horse. On the ground, she is very affectionate and I have no problems grooming or having her trimmed. She has always been in great health, is up to date on her coggins, worming & shots. Even though she is in her 20's she is still full of life and plenty of spunk and has MANY good years left in her.

I am asking a small rehoming fee of $400 which is negotiable. I really need to rehome her by the end of the month if possible. She is being pasture boarded in Dallas, GA with 2 other pasture mates. It would not be necessary for you to move her if you need a place to keep her. The board there is $85/month.
