Wanted: sound, laid back buddy

I'd like to spend my days off on a laid-back trail ride. I've been swindled twice by people trying to dump-and-run "problem" horses. I'm just looking to purchase a horse that is sound at the walk and trot or walk and jog. I don't need a jumper. I don't need a "speed horse." I'd be willing to sign a contract that says he's/she's not to be sold. Adult caregiver. Senior guys and gals are welcomed. Daily care/weekend riding. Am an advanced rider, but would prefer a no-nonsense horse that enjoys riding non-strenuous trails. Thanks. |
