13 year old appendix paint gelding for sale that has the body structure of a warmblood. He is around 16-16.1 hands tall. I've owned him for over 3 years and put a lot of time into him. The highest I've jumped him was 3'3" or so. He definitely has the potential to go higher he just needs to be in better shape for that. Casper has jumped everything and anything you can think of ranging from in and outs, triples, oxers, broken lines ext. I've actually jumped him with tied reins and just used my legs to guide him. When I did that he always landed on the correct lead. He currently has 2 seasons of show experience under his belt. I've shown him in hunter under-saddle, showmanship, jumping and western. He almost always placed in the top 5 in all of his classes. As for the western he knows how to neck rein but I usually just use a hackamore. Also I only used western mainly for a few trail rides. He's very flashy and catches the judges attention when he enters the ring. He has a nice floaty trot and a smooth rocking horse canter. I've also taken him to many different clinics in which he did amazing in. I've had him in the round pen and he listens to both voice commands and body signals, most of the time I've free lunged him. He's also free jumped a few times and did great. He's got awesome ground manners and is kid safe. Casper is basically bombproof and traffic safe. I've had people of all ages and sizes on him. He bathes, clips and loads fine. He actually backs out of the trailer by himself. He's great for the farrier and vet. I started him on his flying lead changes a about 1 year ago but needs more work on them, but he's got his leads down. When I bought him I was told he had some dressage training but I never pursued it further. I'm leasing him because I don't have the time for him anymore and he LOVES to work, if interested in just buying him my asking price is 3500 but will increase with more training. This guy is worth every penny!!!
