Christian Horsemanship Summer Day Camp 2012

We are gearing up for another great year of camp! Its a week packed full of fun. Join us for Horsemanship classes, Fishing, Hiking, Crafts, Swimming, Picnic Lunches bring your own lunch, and other Outdoor Adventures. Horsemanship classes vary according to skill level, but include patterns, barrel racing, pole bending, games, cattle herding, and trail riding. Each day includes a Biblical group devotion that encourages closeness with God, self-esteem, and teamwork. Daily schedule includes riding and being with your horse from arrival to lunch, swimming Monday Wednesday after lunch, crafts or fishing three days a week, and a final show for family and friends to attend on Thursday at 2:00pm.

Cost is $275 per rider for one week of camp Monday Thursday, 8:30am 3:00pm. Campers can sign up for one week at a time starting June 6 through August 18. Groups vary from 8-16 riders each week ages 7-10 & 11-14. Discounts available for siblings. We encourage friends and family to attend together and we try to put them in the same week as long as space allows. There are boots and helmets available in a variety of sizes at the barn when you arrive. Long pants jeans and modest tops are required. There is no need to purchase boots or a helmet. Drop off and pick up are at the pavilion of Christs Haven for Children at 8:30am and 3:00pm. Please follow the parking signs to the large white top parking lot. There is a list of items to bring to camp attached to the application. Instructors are CPR certified.
