When disaster strikes, it helps to be prepared. If your facility can provide shelter in times of need, list it here with your contact info and requirements.
When disaster strikes, it is best to have a plan to help keep your horses safe. Search the LocalHorse emergency shelter directory to find shelters in the your area. Before selecting a shelter, contact them to make sure they are open have space available and ask about their requirements.
Being listed here does NOT mean they have space available, only that they may be willing to provide shelter in the event of an emergency.
Make sure you keep copies of health records in a secure location so they will be accessible in a hurry.
