Empowering horsepeople to solve horse problems, and prevent future problems.
The secret to great Horsemanship is all about expanding your ability to see your horse's behavior ss informational feedback for you. Sometimes it's what you want to see, and sometimes...it's not pretty! Sometimes you need a coach who can more accurately interpret the actual reasons behind that unwanted behavior, and set you on the path to fixing it. You deserve to have more joy in the time you spend with your horse, and you can finally get it!
Maggie Metzker is a mobile Horsemanship Coach and Equine Behavior Specialist, who will come to you.
Maggie says, "As a Horsemanship Coach, my job is to teach people essentially three things:
How to read the horses subtle behavior as informational feedback
How to respond appropriately to it
How to seamlessly integrate the result into the riding discipline that the student chooses."
In equestrian endeavors, where most people will get frustrated, unable to attain their goals through "traditional training" alone, Maggie's students get a result that is a more joyous cooperative venture with the horse. Problem horses become willing partners who are more relaxed and focused on what the human wants.
Currently offering private sessions, clinics, workshops, and remote coaching sessions via technology such as Skype.
