Established summer day and overnight camp program, located in Talking Rock, convenient to Pickens, Gilmer, Gordon, Murray and Fannin counties. We offer many different levels of horse camp for children:
-- a Rising Riders half-day camp for younger children aged 6-8. -- 5-day and 3-day Novice camps for beginners and those with Walk/Trot experience aged 9 and up. -- specialty camps in Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping, Mounted Games, and Quadrille for more experienced riders. Our program is based on the USPC model of instruction, taught by experienced Pony Club instructors. All camps have one or two English riding lessons each day, horsey crafts and games, lots of hands-on instruction in horse care and stable management, and an informal end-of-camp show for families and friends. We also have a LOT of fun, with a terrific group of returning campers each year. Dates and details for all camps are available on our website. Our camps tend to fill up quickly, so call or email soon to reserve a spot for your child. |
